Well, it's the last day of the challenge. *sniff* Another Christmas has passed and we're into the new year. Time to set aside the Christmas reads for our normal reading fare. Don't worry...the challenge will be back for Christmas 2012 and I hope you all will join me again!
I'm posting the linky below for you to link up your wrap-up post. I'm going to give everyone until Monday, January 9 at 11:59pm CST to complete their wrap-up post. If anyone needs a little extra time, please let me know. Now, on to the giveaway details...and I'm adding a little extra prize too!
GIVEAWAY!
All challenge participants in the U.S. will be entered to win a mystery box of Christmas titles handpicked by me. These will be gently used books (possibly library discards) and/or brand new books. I will pick an additional winner from any International participants and I will purchase a book or eBook of your choice under $5.00 (U.S.) from Book Depository or Better World Books and have it shipped to you. I will verify that these retailers do indeed ship free to your country. If they do not, you will have to choose an eBook or I will choose another winner. All winners will be chosen randomly using random.org. All challenge participants will be asked to complete a wrap-up post, share it in the wrap-up linky, and include your country of residence with your name to be eligible for the giveaway. If you have any questions, please leave me a comment below.Extra Prize!
I feel bad for not getting around to comment on all of your reviews so I'm doing an extra giveaway. I will go to the review linky at midnight tonight and randomly pick (random.org) a winner from all reviews submitted. As posted above, I will purchase a book or eBook of your choice under $5.00 (U.S.) from Book Depository or Better World Books and have it shipped to you. If the winner is international, I will determine if they ship to you and, if not, an eBook will be purchased.
Thanks again for joining me for the challenge. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm actually still reading and will probably be doing so until midnight tonight! Yeah, today is my last day of Christmas and I'm milking it for all it's worth (well, at least until the next Rudolph Day anyway). =O)
Also, there are still some giveaways going on until midnight tonight and a couple, including my 100+ followers giveaway, going until well into January. Go try your luck!
***Remember to link to your wrap-up post and include your country of residence with your name***
*embarrassed* I was only able to complete 3 books from the Mistletoe level though. That's still okay? Next Christmas, I won't let a week pass without reading a chapter or two. :D Thank you for hosting. I enjoyed it very much and I was so happy to have found your page. :D
ReplyDeleteLoved it! I managed to complete all of my 30 days of Christmas Reviews - YIPPEE!! I also watched several Christmas movies. It was loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, I read tons over the challenge, it was my excuse to lose myself in the season! I'll work on my review and pose later today. I must admit that I slipped a couple of extras in there that weren't Christmas books but I really had fun. I can't wait for the next one, I think it may be a new holiday tradition in my house now! Hugs Sally xxx
ReplyDeleteLinked up but didn't see it go thru.. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the first book reading challenges I have taken part in and I enjoyed it so much. I have linked to the label in my blog of the Christmas Spirit Reading challenge which means that the link takes you to all the posts from this challenge, of course with the finishing post on top. Thank you for hosting I will definitely be back for the challenge this year.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, as with all of your events, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am sorry that I didn't manage to find more time, but you did give me an excuse to read more than I probably would have had I not been participating. I look forward to your next reading event. Thanks again for thinking of me. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Michelle! Thank you SO much for this WONDERFUL challenge!! I loved every minute of it!! This year, I'll join in just as soon as your initial post goes up, so I'll most likely be able to participate at The Christmas Tree Level.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to this!!! Now I have yet another reason for loving Christmas!!! YAY!!!
